When the 3D technology was first released, it created more than a buzz in the theatre world, it creates major waves. The fact that you could view your favourite movies in 3D and see everything in a life-like dimension was what had everybody gasping. The way it seemed the characters in the movie were speeding towards you whenever they were in flight or engaged in battle was just so innovative and exciting, no one could get enough of them. Even best is the fact that all of these could be experienced simply by putting on a pair of 3D glasses. Nowadays, you don’t even need to get to the cinemas to have the 3D experience. With the technology being included in the latest TV sets, you can have the ‘whoooo’ and ‘aaaahhhh’ effect from the comfort of your home.

It will not be so easy to have the same experience at home with the latest innovation in theatres. 4D is the latest form of entertainment presentation that combines the 3D effects with physical effects from the movie you are viewing. It includes enabling you to feel the different sensations from the movie including smells, mists and so on. It is important to know that even though 3D movies are geometrically three-dimensional, 4D movies are not geometrically four dimensional.

When the 4D theatre revolution first began, it was only shown at certain venues. Theme and amusement parks did shows of about fifteen minutes to half an hour, giving their customers the amazing 4D experience.

Installation of the 4D necessities is a very expensive mission to undertake so it is no wonder that the experience is not as ubiquitous as the 3D theatre experience. The 4D technology requires the use of special seats that are able to vibrate and even move during certain scenes in a film as well as the use of water sprays during some scenes. In other words, the 4D experience combines geometrically three-dimension images with very interesting physical movements. You will find your chair swaying in different directions during a windy scene and will experience the wind blowing. When I viewed a short film at a theme park recently, I felt my chair tilt forward as one of the characters in the movie jumped into a lake and I even saw the water splash like I was actually in a lake.

The 4D experience is one that you will not want to miss out one. It not only gives you a complete life-like view of the movie, it makes you feel like you are part of the movie. It is suffice to say that at the end of a two-hour action movie you will be exhausted because you will feel like you were right there on the scene experiencing every vibration and sensation. Absolutely amazing if you ask me.

Some countries have embarked on the mission of installing the necessary 4D seats at their theatres, some of which include South Korea and the United States of America (trust those guys to be on top of every technological innovation). For those in the United Kingdom, 4D films are shown at the London eye and at Madame Tussauds. It has been revealed that the avatar movie which was one of the first movie that made the 3D technology famous has been reproduced in 4D for and even more sensational experience.

It is only a matter of time before the 4D technology becomes the normal viewing mode for movies all over the world and 2D will completely become a thing of the past.

Even with a strong competitor like the Xbox360, the Playstation 3 has to be one of the best, if not the best video game console invented till date but while we are still busy trying to get as much of this device as we can, there have been rumours that Sony intends to reveal the PlayStation 4 console. If released, this will be the eighth generation video game console developed by Sony and I am sure you will agree with me that Sony has come a long way in the development of video games as well as consoles.

There have been rumours that the PlayStation 4 console will be called PlayStation Orbis. How true this is, will have to determined with time. Further speculations state that the operating system of the new video game console will be totally revolutionary and will have either an APU-AMD A8-385 quad core operating system with a frequency of  2,9GHz per core or a CPU-9.66 GHz POWER7 Cell Broadband engine with four, six or possibly eight cores. It has also been stated that the RAM of this device will be 1GB with such amazing graphics, it will make its predecessors look like mere boxes. In addition, the PlayStation 4 video game console is also being rumoured to be compatible with Blu-ray as well as the usual DVD and CD. The price for this device has also been speculated to cost between $499 – $1000.

With the amazing graphics promised in this new console, we can guess that many video game developers are busy burning the midnight oil trying to create video games that are up to the PlayStation 4′s standard.

The question killing everyone with suspense of course is when this amazing device will be released by Sony. No one is sure about the release date of this device. Some enthusiasts are speculating it will be released by late 2012 like some of its predecessors were released late in the year in their time. It is possible that all of these are just fantasies as Sony has not even released a statement concerning the existence of this device. My question to Sony is why not go with an Android operating system. the reason for this is look at the various capabilites the PS 4 will be able to so. Some of us would even want to have WhatsApp on the playstation. Who really uses the Sony PS network for messaging? There have been a few public meetings where people held their breath expecting Sony to open the curtain on this supposedly revolutionary video game console but not a word has been uttered about it. As a matter of fact, doubting its existence is plausible but is rather difficult as there have been rumours that PlayStations 5 and 6 are in the stage of development.

If this device is truly existent, Sony is doing an amazing job keeping it a secret. We will just have to wait and see.

Windows 8, like all its predecessors was designed by Microsoft for use mainly on Personal Computers, laptops and with the new surge in the market, tablets. The development of the system started after its predecessor was released in 2009 and it took three long years for Microsoft to develop and test the system and finally, last month, Microsoft released it from the development phase to the manufacturing phase, creating a buzz in the market.

There have been revelations that Windows 8 is the biggest change in Microsoft’s operating system since as far back as 1995. It is said to introduce a new graphical interface and a brand new start screen that replaces the old and boring start menu. Better still, it has been said that the new Windows 8 will have a new online store where apps can be purchased for your personal computer. There is also said to be an in-built anti-virus system.

With the new developments in the operating system, one can tell that it will not be as easy to simply upgrade your old operating system to the new one. It is more likely that the new generation of PCs will be the ones fully equipped with this operating system.

It has been revealed that the popular PC Company Hewlett Packard, popularly referred to as HP is releasing Windows 8- friendly touch PCs; the Envy, SpectreOne and also the refreshed Pavilion lines are going to be a part of this revolution.

It was said that Hewlett Packard was rather reluctant to become part of this revolution but tnow, they are fully behind the new touch-friendly version of Windows. The windows 8 operating system has the ability to sense touch and recognize input from ten fingers at once. At this point we know companies like bluestack will be releasing a Windows 8 version. The need to stay ahead of the game. this means what WhatsApp for Windows 8 will be available then. The method of getting whatsapp to work on a pc described here, will be the same. The Envy series which currently consist of the Envy 20 and Envy 23 will be touch-smart PCs that will take full advantage of this touch-sensitive function of the new Windows 8. The new PCS also have amazing features like terabytes of storage capacity, the famous HP Beats Audio, High Definition webcams and HP connected music.

The SpectreOne PC is another new PC that will be built based on the Windows 8 operating system. This PC is said to have a full glass high definition screen that will allow users to imitate many touch functions as they would on an iPad.

No one knows why Microsoft decided to introduce a touch-interactive operating system and we can’t be too sure if everyone will enjoy using it. We will just have to wait and see what happens with the release of the new HP PCs. We know HP’s loyal customers are bound to rush for these new products!

You could get even more irritated if you use your personal computer to connect with friends using Whatsapp for your pc and it lags. The next thing that could be the worst stress level when using your computer is computer hackers. Hackers are stereotyped to be a bunch of geeks who sit behind their computer eating rubbish and junk food while causing mayhem in unsuspecting computer users lives. Hackers tend to cause you more stress than your taxes because they may hack in to your personal lives and either cause trouble or even use their hacking skills to take part in criminal activities.

Local and international companies have even made it their mission to help prevent these attacks and to help companies to protect themselves against hackers. Hackers tend to raise computer users stress levels especially if it involves financial problems. Hackers tend to hack peoples email addresses and cause havoc.  Some peoples stress levels skyrocket if they aren’t sure how to use something and the computer won’t do what they want to do. This causes them to become irritable and impatient. The government have even taken it upon themselves to hire people who could be ‘good hackers’.

It is their job to watch the net and computers for places where the hackers may strike and they make it their aim to prevent users from being hacked. They usually work long hours of 18 hours if not more. Its thanks to their dedication that may personal computer users may have lower stress levels and half the time they may not even know that it was the hackers who prevented it. If you own a personal computer you will need to give thanks to those that are protecting your best interests!! Don’t let you computer cause you more stress than necessary. Its only technology after all.

A computer is a necessity in nearly every household and for those who don’t have a smart phone they may even be interested in getting Whatsapp Messenger for your computer. Whatsapp on your personal computer is simple and easy to download. It is an application which is similar to BBM but can be used on a range of smart phones and computers. A personal computer such as a laptop may be an even better device to have because you can take it with you wherever you go.

Many complain of using a laptop because many say after a year or so the battery life goes downhill and you may need to sit with it on charge nearly every time you use it which will make it seem like an average computer. A computer is a great way to keep in touch and even help in your community. The very man that had the innovative idea of creating the first laptop and who’s laptop was first used in the 1980′s by NASA, Bill Moggridge, has died at the tender age of 69 from his losing battle against Cancer. So even though a great technological boffin has gone his idea’s will live on and help others to create better and newer laptops, perhaps one that has a better battery life?

The outside it is a sleek well rounded look. There aren’t to many sharp corners  giving it a elegant look but not like a ball. There are pro’s and cons. The pro is less sharp corners  makes it easier to slip into a notebook cover, and less likely to chip. But that also increases the surface space meaning in time the corners the paint will come off.

The brushed look on certain parts and a great full sized keyboard, for us fat fingered people is visually very appealing.  On the inside it hides the latest Intel Core i5 – a processor we think is best value for money. With 4GB Ram and a Solid State 250 GB hard drive performance is immense.  The fact that it is a SSD hard drive also helps with the battery life. A cold start boot on Windows cal take less than 12 seconds. I’m a sleep mode user ant it boots instantly from sleep mode.

As of application performance The benchmark these days for a decent machine is for as a i5 processor and 4GB ram. This means your normal office applications start faster and less of a wakeup. For those of you that has WhatsApp on your Windows Computer. Using one of our methods. YouWave and BlueStacks will load faster with a machine like this. The Samsung Series 9 I only 13mm think….my Blackberry is 9mm and I lose that in my pocket all the time. The speakers are well hidden, together with the battery. these are often the factors that decide the thickness of a laptop. It holds a nice 15′ screen, the keyboard also illuminates without adding glare to the screen. HP perfected that one some years ago.

Glass Touchpad is something I think I would break. I tap hard on things. The gestures in Windows 7, the touchpad work well. But we think in the redesigned windows 8 it will be better. other things that need to become standard  like USB 3 is found on the ultra book. it also has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, fan control which is a pretty nifty feature.

Some things that are missing as a CD/DVD drive, a RJ45 network port.

All and all this is the new way of devices. Optical drives are becoming obsolete, WiFi connections are the future. Making without some of these functions is just a matter of getting use to them.

After winning the court case battle against Samsung, Apple still isn’t through with Samsung. Even after getting a payout of 1.05million US dollars, Apple is planning on getting a ban on eight of Samsungs smart phones. The choice of the phones to be banned are those which the jurors found had infringed upon Apple’s patents. The eight phones include:

•  Galaxy S 4G
•  Galaxy S2 (AT&T)
•  Galaxy S2 (Skyrocket)
•  Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile)
•  Galaxy S2 Epic 4G
•  Galaxy S Showcase
•  Droid Charge
•  Galaxy Prevail

Having a ban on the sales of some of these phones could be potentially disastrous to Samsung but great for Apple. Many consumers believe that the Samsung Galaxy smart phones are way better than the iPhone and are planning of replacing their iPhone’s with a Galaxy smart phone. Others may feel that Apple was within their rights to sue Samsung. But is AppLe going to far with their ‘revenge?’ Apple has created smart phone after smart phone which is getting more and more popular especially the Apple Mac series.

Microsoft’s Windows 8 is promised as a revolutionary operating system, it boots up in seconds and it will have a slightly new interface. The problem I have is that I had a tattoo made on my forehead reminding me if the misfortunes of Windows Vista. I mean really that was a colossal Microsoft …. up. now is this the right time to buy hardware or wait a little bit.

I think hold off, besides whatever you are buying today is going to be old tomorrow and ancient when Windows 8 gets released. I’m not going to hold off buying something in the next few months to be tied into a Windows 8 OS PC. Besides I am very happy running Windows 7 at this point and a few additional software applications. I like running WhatsApp Messenger on my Computer. It took me long enough to figure how to get it to work on my PC and Laptop. Now I’m not going to change that for Windows 8 anytime soon. The convenience is just to convenient for me at this point.

Reading the previous paragraph I am changing my mind. This is the right time to buy computer hardware or a new PC. Maybe you can pick it up cheap. It will last you at least 2 years. By then Windows 8 would have been sorted out. Best of all, all the software guys will have windows 8 versions of their applications. The I will go and upgrade to the latest Intel PC and then have WhatsApp for Windows 8 running flawlessly. How cool will that be. Maybe even old WhatsApp inc will have a version of WhatsApp for computers on an official release.

I am expecting Microsoft to get Windows 8 right the first time. but as always I will wait for the first service pack to be released. I don’t know but I hate downloading patch after patch on new software. So they will get it right, but that will figure out there are a few things still wrong. That doesn’t make it bad at all.

Whatsapp is one of the most remarkable applications that everyone should have on their mobile phones. here are just a few reasons why WhatsApp Messenger is great on mobile phones. But this is what we came up with a few days after testing the install of WhatsApp PC. The features listed are as per WhatsApp.com so we added a few notes.

* NO Messaging costs: WhatsApp uses your Internet connection: 3G/EDGE or Wi-Fi when available to messege people. Also there is no additional international charge when using whatsapp. It happened my wife was in India and it was great chatting to her on her phone using WhatsApp. I was using my PC and she was using her BlackBerry. Sometimes Skype is not available.

* Send Video, Images, and Voice notes to your friends and contacts. Well in our office we did a few stupid stuff. We sent videos and MP3 files to one another. We were merely testing if this can actually be used as a PC business application. We will do a full article on this.

* Chat in Groups, Now supporting up to 15 contacts at one time. Now we don’t work with 15 and more people in our offices. So we decided to have a group meeting. Each person at their own desk. it was hilarious as a group chat and nothing was achieved. Slow typer’s didn’t say much for some reason. Other than that a two way conversation was impossible. its group chat so what’s the point.

* No More BB Pins and Usernames: Well Blackberry Pins and usernames on things like Skype isn’t that great. But there are two versions here. One being the no more pins or usernames, WhatsApp auto detects your contacts and can check if they have WhatsApp installed. If they do it auto connects you. No with our BlueStacks install you need to add contacts manually at this point.

- One Tick indicates that your message is delivered to the server.

- Double Tick indicated  is delivered to the device of the chat partner. However, it does not mean that it was read by your chat partner.

These were a few of the features we tried out when we had WhatsApp installed on our PC’s. As a matter of fact I still have my own private number on my PC and using WhatsApp.

Now getting back to our point of getting false positives on WhatsApp Messenger. I have had a website visitor very disgruntled when their antivirus went nuts. Naturally we test the guides on installing software onto computers. Thus I was rather freaked out myself, we publically post these guides tested and working with no viruses or Trojans.

I offered to Skype the person to help resolve the issue of WhatsApp install being a virus. It became very apparent that something was amiss here. The first question I asked was. How did you install it.  Have you uninstalled WhatsApp using YouWave or BlueStacks?

They said it happened after they installed WhatsAppforPC.exe they downloaded. I asked promptly if this was a guide you followed by us or someone else. The user said they read our guide and thought we had made a mistake. They Googled WhatsApp APK and got to WhatsAppforPC.exe. They thought this is a short cut.

Notes on WhatsApp for PC:

• WhatsApp inc does not support a PC version
• Our Versions and other versions from reputable websites are “hacks” or a work around getting whatsapp to work on home computers.
• Always download anything official from WhatsApp.com like the WhatsApp APK
• Download YouWave form here and BlueStacks from here only!

Tips on preventing being caught:

• Stay away from torrent sites
• Stay away from quick fixes or “All in One Installer”
• If it sounds too good to be true, it is. To our knowledge there is no one click install for WhatsApp.
• Use your head when downloading and installing any type of software.

So I continued to help this person get rid of the problem even though it was not our fault. Also we express this software is not officially supported for PC. So any guide or workaround is still at your own risk. If you really need WhatsApp on your PC. Keep popping in we will be doing more updates soon.
